Body found during search for person who didn’t resurface at Tempe Town Lake
Crews located a body Monday while searching for a person who went missing at Tempe Town Lake the previous night.

PHOENIX – Crews located a body Monday while searching for a person who went missing at Tempe Town Lake the previous night.
The search was launched after a person who was seen entering the water on Sunday night failed to resurface, according to the Tempe Police Department.
The body of a man was pulled from the lake around 10:30 a.m. Monday. He was identified later as 24-year-old James Carson. Authorities don’t know why he entered the lake.
The Tempe Fire Department and other resources assisted with the search.

No, they were searching for the missing person and found him in the lake. He was the person they were looking for.
