Two in critical condition after mobile home fire destroys three homes in Avondale

Two elderly people are in critical condition after a mobile home fire to a single white trailer extended to two adjacent mobile homes.

According to Avondale Fire Division Chief Ben Avitita, the one male and one female were sent to Maricopa County burn unit.

All three homes near Litchfield Road and Buckeye Road were destroyed.

There is no known cause at this time for the fire and the reported explosion.
