I-17 North reopened near McGuireville after vehicle fire

The 1-17 North has been reopened near milepost 293, south of McGuireville after a vehicle fire.

According to Arizona Department of Transportation public information officer Tom Herrmann, the fire spread to the median.

The lanes near milepost 293 between Camp Verde and SR 179 were closed due to the fire. The left southbound lane is still closed due to the fire being in the median as well as the left lane going northbound.
