In honor of National Pizza Day…
Arizona is well-known for its many restaurants and eating options, but did you know you can find delicacies from other states here?
That includes the infamous deep-dish pizza for which visitors flock to Chicago. In fact, there are a bunch of Valley restaurants that serve up Chicago-style deep dish pizza. Take a look at some pizzerias suggested by Reddit users.
Vito’s Pizza
This pizza parlor in Glendale is known for its special Chicago touch. It’s very popular on Yelp with one reviewer saying:
“I’m from Chicago and one of my friends moved to Scottsdale and recommended this place as something equivalent to our 3rd best deep dish in Chicago but the best available in the Phoenix area.”
Fatman’s Pizza & Grill
The aptly named Fatman’s in Apache Junction will leave you feeling full and satisfied after you try their sauce and dough made from their own special Chicago recipe.
Oregano’s
Oregano’s is a bit of an Arizona pizza staple with locations in Phoenix, Tempe, Cave Creek, Paradise Valley and more.
Rosati’s Pizza
Another great option with lots of Arizona locations is Rosati’s Pizza, serving Chicago favorites since 1964.
Buddyz A Chicago Pizzeria
It doesn’t get more real than this. Buddyz started in northern Chicago and opened up a location in Queen Creek.
