Man arrested after allegedly stabbing wife to death in north Phoenix

PHOENIX – A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing his wife to death in north Phoenix on Monday, according to authorities.
Police responded to a reported stabbing in north Phoenix near Cave Creek and Cactus roads around midnight on Monday. After arriving, authorities found 37-year-old Aliccia Grant, who had been stabbed multiple times.
Emergency services took Grant to the hospital, where she later died.
Authorities said Grant’s husband, 35-year-old Stephen Dennis, called 911 and admitted to stabbing Grant and told police where he was located.
Dennis was then taken into custody and later interviewed by detectives. He was charged with second degree murder after being taken to Maricopa County Jail.
Police said they found a knife believed to be used by Dennis when searching the area.
No other information was made available.
The case is an ongoing investigation.
