Slim Chickens set to open third Valley location in Glendale next week

PHOENIX — Slim Chickens, a fast-casual restaurant that is committed to providing a “better chicken” experience, is opening its third Arizona location on Monday.

The new Slim Chickens restaurant will be located at 3630 W. Happy Valley Road in Glendale.

“Slim Chickens is a young, exciting brand with a ton of growth potential,” said Lucas Barnett, a second-generation franchisee. “I believe that it will fit well in the competitive landscape with unique offerings and tons of options.”

Founded in 2003, the brand has opened to over 250 locations across 34 states, as well as opening locations in the United Kingdom.

In addition to its overall growth, the new Glendale opening will offer 75 new jobs in the community, stimulating a positive economic impact and furthering the company’s goal in expanding to over 600 restaurants within the next decade.

What kind of food does Slim Chickens offer?

In addition to its buttermilk-marinated, hand-breaded all-natural chicken tenders, Slim Chickens offers a variety of other options, including fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps, signature chicken and waffles and rotating desserts served in Mason jars.

Customers can expect their chicken tenders and wings to be served with a choice of 17 different house made sauces.
