PHOENIX — Phoenix police are looking for a suspect accused of fatally shooting a man during a private vehicle sale on Friday night, authorities said.

The incident occurred near 43rd Avenue and McDowell Road in Phoenix just before 9:15 p.m., the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

Officers responded to the shooting and found 27-year-old David Navidad-Parra on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was later pronounced dead, authorities said.

Navidad-Parra was reported missing while providing a test drive of a vehicle to a man, who is considered the suspect in the shooting, authorities said.

A vehicle that police believe was involved in the shooting was found on fire early Saturday morning near 91st Avenue and Rose Lane in Glendale, Phoenix police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Phoenix Police Department at 602-262-6151 or Silent Witness at 480-948-6377 to remain anonymous.

No additional information was immediately available.
