PHOENIX – Midtown Phoenix lost a popular brunch option last week when the Daily Dose Kitchen & Bar closed its doors for good.

Nov. 23 was the last day of service at the daytime eatery on Highland Avenue near State Route 51, behind the Camelback Colonnade shopping center.

“It has been our pleasure to serve you at Daily Dose Midtown over the past ten years,” the restaurant said in a Nov. 16 Instagram post.

“The lease at this store is expiring and we will no longer be operating in this location.”

Fans of the Daily Dose’s wide-ranging menu — which features bloody marys, specialty cocktails, eggs Benedicts, pancakes, sandwiches, salads and more — now have to head to Old Town Scottsdale or Tempe to get their fix.

Both remaining locations are open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant near Scottsdale and Indian School roads also stays open for dinner until 8 p.m. Tuesdays-Saturdays.

The location on Rio Salado Parkway near Tempe Marketplace opened last year and just added Monday service this week.

We want to hear from you.
