PHOENIX — Construction recently began on a Phoenix-based hardware company at Glendale’s Loop 303 corridor, aiming to better serve West Valley residents.

Copper State Bolt and Nut Company will open its next 39,000-square-feet facility at the southwest corner of the Loop 303 and Camelback Road, according to a press release.

The facility will sit on five acres and is set to feature dual shipping and receiving yards, customer call area, an air conditioned warehouse and an open concept office area.

Construction is scheduled to be complete January 2023.

“We have spent 50 years evolving to support our fast-paced, service-oriented industry, and our latest expansion is no exception,” Sarah Shannon, CEO, said in the release.

“This new facility expands our reach farther into Phoenix’s West Valley than we have ever been before, where so many of our customers are building and operating in response to a nearly unprecedented commercial and residential boom. With our location at PV 303, we will be right where they need us to be.”

The expansion of the hardware company came after West Valley customers remained actively involved in a growing list of projects with Copper State.

The project is being built by Stevens-Leinweber Construction, while the architect is Winton Architects.

Other tenants within the Loop 303 industrial park include Boeing/XPO, Dick’s Sporting Goods, REI, HD Supply and Ball Manufacturing.
