PHOENIX — A man accused of fatally shooting two people at a West Phoenix hotel was arrested early Saturday morning, authorities said.

Jose Gregorio Inchaurriga Ruacho, 33, was booked into the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office on multiple charges stemming from the shooting that occurred on Thursday morning, the Phoenix Police Department said in a press release.

Officers responded to the shooting at the hotel near 48th Avenue and McDowell Road at about 9:15 a.m. and found two men with fatal gunshot wounds, authorities said.

One of the victims has been identified as 64-year-old Douglas Earl Emison while the identity of the other man is still pending, Phoenix police said.

Surveillance video allegedly showed Inchaurriga Ruacho driving away from the scene in a 2004 blue Dodge Ram pickup truck.
