PHOENIX — Acclaimed hotelier Fairmont will make a splash in downtown Phoenix when it opens a 25-story luxury hotel with residences in 2025.
The property will feature 225 guestrooms — including 34 suites — and 151 one-to three-bedroom residences and penthouses on the southwest corner of Jackson and First streets.
“We are excited to announce the signing of Fairmont Phoenix, bringing the renowned Fairmont brand to the heart of downtown Phoenix, an epicenter for innovation and growth,” Heather McCrory, CEO for Accor North and Central America, Fairmont’s parent company, said in a press release.
The hotel portion will have four bars and restaurants, including a full-service eatery, a rooftop pool with a bar and a lobby bar.
It will also feature 23,000 square feet of meeting space, an 18,000-square-foot lounge, a health club and some retail space.
The residences, which will occupy the upper 12 floors of the property, will have their own set of amenities, including a separate lounge, an outdoor swimming pool, dedicated parking and a private entrance.
Sales for the residences are expected to begin later this year and an interest list for prospective buyers is available online.
Thunderbird Legacy Development will serve as the developer and general partner for the property.
“The downtown Phoenix community is a thriving hub filled with opportunities for new businesses,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said.
“I’m particularly excited about the influx of new jobs that Fairmont Phoenix will bring to the area. It’s a great way to add beauty and economic prosperity to the city.”
