Mar 29, 2022, 4:00 PM

PHOENIX — Planet Fitness announced Monday its fourth Gilbert location will open in late April.

The gym will be located at 915 S. Gilbert Road in the new shopping center at Gilbert and Warner roads.

“We’re excited to open a fourth club in Gilbert,” Scott McCreery, regional director of the largest Planet Fitness Franchisee Group, United PF Partners, said in a press release.

“With this new club, we’re making our state-of-the-art fitness experience even more accessible to members across the area.”

An in-club membership presale has started for the new 17,000-square-foot location that will feature a variety of cardio machines and strength equipment, a cardio theatre with flat-screen TVs and fully equipped locker rooms with day lockers and showers.

It will also have signature attractions of the chain, including the 30-minute express circuit and PF Black Card membership benefits like a spa, HydroMassage loungers, tanning beds and massage chairs, according to the release.

A regular membership costs $10 per month, the company said, while the upgraded features cost $22.99 per month and allows the person to bring a friend anytime.

Once the Gilbert club opens, there will be 37 Planet Fitness locations across the metro Phoenix area.
