Police investigate shooting in parking lot of Glendale gas station
PHOENIX – Police are searching for the suspect in a shooting Monday outside a Glendale gas station that left a woman hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to a shooting call at 51st and Olive avenues around 11 a.m., the Glendale Police Department said in a press release.
Investigators learned that a male in a white four-door car fired a shot at a truck in the parking lot and hit a woman who was near the truck, police said.
The truck and the car both left the scene before police arrived.
Police haven’t determined what the woman’s relationship was to the people in the truck.
A person got out of the car and talked to somebody in the truck before the shooting, police said.
The investigation is ongoing. No other information was immediately available.
