Cave Creek Museum to kick off 2021-2022 season this October

PHOENIX — The Cave Creek Museum is set to kick off the 2021-2022 season this October with new collections, exhibits and special events, officials announced.
The new season, starting October 1 and lasting through May 31, will debut artifacts showcasing the prehistoric history of the Cave Creek area, as well as the area’s desert defender and poetry to Cave Creek as the first poet laureate.
A fine art collection that shows the legacy of Cave Creek’s Southwest Fine Arts Heritage will also make an appearance for the first time in years, officials said in a press release.
Some of the programs will include a night with the ghost hunters of Cave Creek, entertainment by Desert Foothills Theatre and the appearance of Southwest Santa.
Additionally, projections in the museum intend to bring history to life for the first time.
The 51-year-old museum located in downtown Cave Creek will be open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
