PHOENIX – A two-vehicle injury crash closed U.S. 60/Grand Avenue, a main artery in Glendale, for several hours Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The Glendale Police Department said the collision shut down westbound lanes at 53rd Avenue and eastbound lanes at Myrtle Avenue.
Police said one of the drivers, who was in the vehicle alone, was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The two in the other vehicle were hospitalized in serious condition.
The road reopened shortly before noon.
