4 people escape early-morning house fire in Phoenix

PHOENIX – Four people escaped a fire that heavily damaged a Phoenix house early Monday.
No one was injured, first responders said.
The Phoenix Fire Department said crews arrived at the house near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road to find flames from outside had gotten inside.
Firefighters were able to account for all the occupants, who had managed to make their way to the front yard around 3 a.m.
The blaze was under control quickly, the department said.
Cause of the fire is being investigated, a fire official said.
No other details were immediately available.
