2-year-old girl in critical condition after being pulled from Phoenix pool

PHOENIX — A 2-year-old girl was rushed to a hospital in extremely critical condition Thursday after being found unconscious in a Phoenix apartment complex pool, authorities said.
The child had very shallow breathing when crews responded to a call in the area of 12th Street and Bell Road, according to a Phoenix Fire Department statement.
Family members told firefighters she’d been under the water for about five minutes, according to the statement.
No other information was immediately available.
