Seven children injured in multi-vehicle accident in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Seven children were transported to the hospital following a multi-vehicle accident in Phoenix on Sunday night.

Authorities say they arrived at the scene near 71st Avenue and Buckeye Road to find a two vehicle accident, with one car on its side.

A 16-year-old male, 14-year-old female and 13-year-old male were transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

Two 12-year-olds (a male and female), a 2-year-old male and a 6-month-old female were also transported to the hospital, but are in stable condition, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

No further information was made available.

The investigation is ongoing.
