2 killed, 3 injured in rollover crash in Phoenix on Interstate 17

PHOENIX — A rollover crash crash left two people dead and three others injured on Interstate 17 near the Loop 303 exit on Saturday night.
Firefighters responded to the scene of the crash, which only involved the one vehicle, according to Phoenix Fire Department captain Kenny Overton.
The two victims pronounced dead at the scene were not identified.
Officials said a 30-year-old man was taken to a hospital in extremely critical condition with two other men — ages 19 and 22 — also injured and transported to hospitals.
Witnesses said the vehicle rolled before coming to a stop about 30 yards off the right shoulder of the freeway.
According to officials, the crash was under investigation.
