PHOENIX – The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday night’s drawing has eclipsed $400 million for the first time in over a year.
A top prize of $410 million, or $308.2 million for the cash option, was up for grabs during the 8 p.m. drawing.
The winning numbers were: 1, 5, 9, 10, 23 and 22.
It would be the 11th highest jackpot in the game’s history.
The Mega Millions jackpot hasn’t been this high since a San Diego ticket buyer cashed in on a $522 million prize ($340 million cash) on June 7, 2019.
In 2018, a South Carolina player set the record by winning a jackpot of more than $1.5 billion.
Mega Millions has seen only one jackpot winner this year, a $202 million haul for a ticket sold in New Jersey.
Arizona Lottery ticket sales raise millions of dollars for education, health and human services, environmental conservation and economic development in the state.
