PHOENIX — A man was shot and killed Wednesday night after being found naked inside a Scottsdale home, authorities said.
The suspect, 18-year-old Cameron Yoe, was found by the father of the residence near Happy Valley and Pima roads in one of the rooms of his children at about 10:50 p.m. after the family dog alerted him, Scottsdale police said.
Yoe, wielding a large piece of wood, then charged the father and was shot twice and killed, police said.
None of the residents in the home were injured during the altercation and there was no indication of additional suspects, according to police.
Yoe also matched the description of a burglary call earlier in the evening near Happy Valley Road and 98th Street, police said.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
