PHOENIX – High Street and Rick Bronson’s House of Comedy are partnering to host a drive-in comedy show on Wednesday during the coronavirus pandemic.

The show will be headlined by local standup comedian Michael Longfellow.

Comedians Charles Engle and Jon Carden will open the evening.

The performance will be broadcast on a local FM frequency so everyone can hear the show from their cars.

Tickets are free through House of Comedy’s website, but attendees are encouraged to make a donation to St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Only one ticket is required per vehicle.

High Street restaurants Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Modern Margarita, Hula’s Tiki Bar, La Bocca Urban Kitchen and The Stir Coffee Bar will be open for take-out food.

The parking lot is located at 5350 E. High Street and will open at 6:30 p.m.

Vehicles will be spaced out to follow CDC guidelines and attendees are asked to stay in their cars.

People cannot sit on chairs, blankets, in the beds of trucks on the roofs of vehicles.

We want to hear from you.
