PHOENIX — A Chandler-based global supplier of aftermarket aviation parts based is about to expand its presence in Europe.

As AvAir enters its 20th year in business, the company is set to open a 25,000-square-foot warehouse facility at the Dublin Airport in Ireland, according to a press release.

The growing company has more than 26 million aviation parts in stock which customers and suppliers can buy, loan, lease, exchange or consign.

“The new Dublin location will allow us to provide better service to our customers in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East,” said CEO Mike Bianco.

“With this new facility, we are removing nearly 5,000 miles from the total distance much of our inventory would need to travel. This allows us to be more responsive to our customers while saving time and money.”

The company is currently looking to fill new sales, administrative and support staff to work out of the Dublin facility. Those interested can inquire online.

AvAir was founded in 2000, and currently services 2,700 customers in 118 countries, according to its website.
