PHOENIX – Justin Bieber is downsizing.
The pop star’s concert set for June 5 has been relocated from State Farm Stadium in Glendale to neighboring Gila River Arena.
Ticketmaster said it contacted ticket holders about the change and assigned new tickets. The event was listed as sold out Monday morning on the ticket vendor’s website.
Kehlani and Jaden Smith are still on board as special guests.
State Farm Stadium, home of the Arizona Cardinals, has a capacity of around 60,000. Gila River Arena, home of the Arizona Coyotes, seats around 18,000.
No reason for the venue change was announced.
According to Billboard, the Valley show and several others on Bieber’s 2020 Changes Tour were moved from stadiums to smaller arenas because of sluggish ticket sales.
Bieber hasn’t performed in metro Phoenix since March 2016.
