Three people killed in South Phoenix double homicide

PHOENIX — Three people are dead after a double homicide in south Phoenix late Friday evening, according to authorities.
Officers responded to an area near the intersection of Chipman Road and 28th Street around 9:45 p.m. on Friday night and found 52-year-old Sabrina Miran-Garcia shot and killed in front of the residence.
Inside the house, officers located 53-year-old Gonzalo Augustin, who had also been killed.
The suspect, 27-year-old Brian Santiago, was found in a different room with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Authorities say Santiago was taken to a local hospital in critical condition where he later died.
The investigation is on-going and no further information was provided.
