PHOENIX – After White Castle finally opened an Arizona location and took the Valley by storm, Jollibee is joining the party and will hold a grand opening for its first Arizona location this weekend in Chandler.

Jollibee, the largest fast-food chain in the Philippines, will celebrate the grand opening at Germann and Gilbert roads at 7 a.m. Saturday.

The first 50 customers in line with a minimum purchase of $25 will receive one six-piece bucket of the signature fried chicken item “Chickenjoy” per month for one year.

According to company Facebook post, the first customer got in line on Christmas, three nights before the opening.

In addition to chicken, the chain has a diverse menu, with options such as hamburgers, spaghetti, palabok, shanghai rolls and steamed rice.

Breakfast and dessert items are also served.

The Chandler location marks the 40th store to open in 11 states, according to a press release.

Across the globe, Jollibee has more than 230 international branches, including Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam and Singapore.

Other promotional items for the grand opening include a free Jollibee collectible with a minimum purchase of $25 for the first 300 customers on opening day and 100 customers on the following two days, and a Jollibee Funko Pop to the first 50 who have a colorful and creative #ItsOurTurn sign.
