PHOENIX — Pop rock juggernaut Maroon 5 will be bringing moves like Jagger to the Phoenix area next year.

The 2019 Super Bowl halftime show act, fronted by former “The Voice” judge Adam Levine, will stop at Ak-Chin Pavilion on May 31.

Presales begin Monday, while tickets become available to the general public Friday at noon.

Pop singer Meghan Trainor, known for her songs “All About That Bass” and “NO,” will open the show.

The tour begins May 30 in Chula Vista, California, and ends Sept. 17 in Tampa, Florida.

Maroon 5 was founded in Los Angeles in 1994 and broke into mainstream music with their 2002 album “Songs About Jane,” featuring songs like “She Will Be Loved,” “Sunday Morning” and “This Love.”

The band won a Grammy award for best new artist in 2005 and best pop performance by a duo or group in 2006 and 2008.

The band’s latest single, “Memories,” was released in September and will be featured on an upcoming seventh studio album.
