Driver claiming to have bomb leads police on chase from Tucson Airport

PHOENIX – A man in Tucson who led police on a car chase from the airport into the city and later claimed to have explosives was arrested early Friday.
ABC15 reported an official for Tucson International Airport said no one had been injured and there had been no damage to the airfield.
Airport police initially pursued the man, who had managed to get on to the airfield. They called city officers for backup around 2 a.m.
Authorities were able to stop the unidentified man a few miles from the airport, after he called 911 to say he had a bomb in his car.
Police locked down the intersection where he was arrested.
They found no explosives in his car.
The suspect could face multiple felony charges from the airport and police.
No other details were immediately available.
