PHOENIX — Scottsdale residents, meet Meat the Ball.

The Italian restaurant focused on meatballs will hold a grand opening for its new location near Scottsdale Road and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard on Nov. 7.

The full-service eatery was created by Pomo Restaurant Group, which has opened Valley restaurants Pomo Pizzeria, Luna Gelataria and Mora Italian.

The 1,500-square-foot restaurant will have an open kitchen, bar seating and a dog-friendly patio.

Its menu will include vegan roasted cauliflower balls with curry sauce, a short rib ball plate with gravy and polenta, and a signature spaghetti and meatball dish.

“We are excited to introduce Meat the Ball to north Scottsdale and share our new Italian inspired menu items with the community,” Stefano Fabbri, Pomo Restaurant Group founder, said in a press release.

“We are dedicated to providing our guests with fresh and local ingredients in a fun, bright atmosphere and a unique dining experience.”

Meat the Ball’s first location is at Biltmore Fashion Park in Phoenix, but it is closed for renovation, according to the website.
