New Phoenix art gallery aims to be inclusive space

PHOENIX — A new art gallery recently opened in Phoenix that will feature local and national artists.
Shaneland Arts, located near Third Street and Camelback Road, officially opened its doors Aug. 17.
Shane R. McCall and Mike Stein co-founded the galley to create an intimate, inclusive space for all.
“I am beyond thrilled to bring this inclusive space to Phoenix,” McCall said in a press release.
McCall said he hopes Shaneland can be a place that people can enjoy themselves, find new items in the retail shop for their home discover or rediscover the artist within.
Aside from the gallery, the space will include a retail store, creativity coaching, workshops and classes.
“As a Creativity Coach I hope to help those artists of any medium that have found themselves needing to discover or rediscover the artist within” McCall said.
McCall has more than 40 years of experience of creative and management leadership. According to the release, McCall said artists of all mediums will learn personalized strategies to tap into their inner-creative talents.
According to the release, Shaneland Arts will begin to offer art classes, both technical and fun, soon. The classes will be in drawing, painting, mixed-media, writing and more.
The gallery also feature two outdoor murals. “Colorfall” by Phoenix artist Lauren Lee is on the east side of the building while “A Mexican Mural” by Phoenix artist Diego Perez is on the west side of the building.
