PHOENIX — American Airlines is adding four destinations from Phoenix Sky Harbor for the winter travel season.
The airline announced Tuesday it will launch service in December to Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Colorado Springs, Colorado; Fargo, North Dakota; and Cincinnati, Ohio.
“We’re the biggest airline in Phoenix and will continue to grow, especially during the peak winter when customers want to visit the most,” Vasu Raja, American’s vice president of network and schedule planning, said in the release.
Tickets for the new seasonal routes will go on sale July 29, and service will launch on Dec. 18, the company said in a press release.
The airline also recently announced five new routes from Phoenix slated to start later this year to Chihuahua, Mexico; Rapid City, South Dakota; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Wichita, Kansas; and New Orleans.
American offers 86 destinations to fly to out of Sky Harbor.
