PHOENIX — If you’re a teacher out of work or looking for a new change in scenery, you may be in luck.
Legacy Traditional Schools is working to fill 160 positions statewide before students return from fall break.
The positions include 50 full-time teaching opportunities across 15 Legacy Traditional School campuses in metro Phoenix, Pinal County and North Tucson. Hiring is also underway in Goodyear, where the newest campus is set to open in the fall.
“As we bring a Legacy education to more students in communities across Arizona, we’re always looking to add outstanding educators to the Legacy team,” Nicole Kirkley, superintendent of Legacy Traditional Schools, said in a press release.
“Our teachers are not only educators, but they’re also community leaders, role models and partners with our Legacy families. We often hear from our faculty that teaching at Legacy is more than a job, it’s a career, and that’s something we take tremendous pride in.”
While compensation varies by position, the average full-time Legacy teacher made around $51,000 in base pay during the 2018-19 school year.
