Police search for suspects in 2 Phoenix shootings in 2019

Amrian Beckwith, 33, was shot in the back.
“He was often seen in the area pushing a shopping cart,” Phoenix Police Sgt. Jamie Rothschild said.
“What we don’t know is what led up to this.”
It happened Dec. 28, 2019, at about 6 p.m. near 75th Avenue north of Indian School Road. Three young men wearing hoodies were seen fleeing from the scene.
“Two were on foot and one was on a bike. Although they had hoodies on, our hope is that somebody might have seen them or recognized them from the area,” Rothschild said.
Investigators don’t know if Beckwith’s murder was random or if he knew the suspects.

“It was Sunday morning, Dec. 8, 2019, at about 2:30 a.m.,” Rothschild said, at a gas station parking lot at 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
It started at a bar, where Marlon Cruz Izaguerre got into an argument with two men and a woman.
As that group left the bar in a white sedan, Izaguerre followed on foot.
“That’s when someone in that vehicle began to shoot and ultimately those shots killed our victim,” Rothschild said.
The suspects and their vehicle were caught on gas station cameras.
“One of those suspects has a tattoo of the state of California on his jaw,” Rothschild said.
“That tattoo, for somebody, may be the key to breaking this case wide open.”
