Main Street Minute: Subs chain selling sandwiches for $1 Thursday

• Lunch is going to be cheap Thursday. Jimmy John’s is selling sandwiches for a dollar between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in a show of customer appreciation. There is a limit of one per person and you have to order in person.
• There is a job fair set for Thursday in Phoenix. It runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the First Institutional Baptist Church near 12th and Jefferson streets. Bring resumes and get ready to meet with employers from across the Valley.
• Chandler Gilbert Arc is holding a hiring event Thursday from noon until 4:30 p.m. The nonprofit is looking for a direct support professional, assistant manager and manager. Head over to the company’s headquarters near Elliot Road and State Route 87 in you’re interested.
