Main Street Minute: Recycle small, unwanted electronics on Earth Day

• Cox Communications is helping Valley residents celebrate Earth Day on Tuesday by accepting old tech for recycling. Just drop off unwanted computers, printers, keyboards and gaming systems at recycling bins located outside Cox stores near Chandler Boulevard and Dobson Road in the East Valley and 99th Avenue and McDowell Road in the West Valley. The sites will also accept servers, modems, hard drives, cellphones, laptops, floppy disks, cameras and alkaline batteries.

• Family Support Resources is interviewing for behavioral health positions from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. at its offices near 43rd and Northern avenues.

• Arizona Women’s Education and Employment has received a $1 million grant from the Justice Department. The funding for three years will go toward a mentoring-based program designed to provide stability and reduce recidivism for up to 200 high-risk women being released from Perryville Prison.
