Main Street Minute: Forest Service filling statewide openings

• The U.S. Forest Service is hosting a hiring event Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Airport near 44th and Washington streets in Phoenix. The agency has statewide openings in recreation, botany, air quality, forestry, archaeology and administration.

• There is a sales and management job fair from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Wyndham Garden Phoenix near Second Avenue and Osborn Road. Oportunities include technical, insurance and pharmaceutical sales, mortgage brokers and account managers. Bring 10-15 resumes and dress business-professional.

• Iris USA is looking for assembly drivers, machine operators, forklift drivers and more. An on-site recruitment event runs from 8 a.m. until noon Tuesday near Cactus and Dysart roads in Surprise.
