Main Street Minute: Container Store, Goodwill team up to eliminate clutter

KTAR’s Main Street Minute focuses on local businesses that are hiring, opening and hosting events across the community. These stories air each weekday at 7:23 a.m.

• Sync Staffing is accepting applications for multiple positions. A job fair runs Friday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. near 75th Avenue and Thomas Road.

• The Container Store is teaming up with Goodwill to help customers kiss clutter goodbye. Over the next two weekends, the storage-solutions store will reward customers who drop off 10 reusable items or cash donations of $5 or more with a free shopping bag. The goods and money will be donated to Goodwill.

• An Arizona realty group has shelled out more than $1 million for 3 acres of land in the East Valley. The Phoenix Business Journal reports the Southeast Valley Regional Association of Realtors will build offices and a conference center near the Chandler Airport. The offices are scheduled to open in 2018.
