Balin Overstolz-McNair, a multimedia reporter, joined KTAR News as an intern in 2022 and was promoted to a full-time role in 2023. Balin graduated from Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication in 2022.
He was born in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, but has lived throughout Arizona since he moved here in 2005. Balin enjoys covering homelessness, solutions for social issues and stories that capture the experience of living in the Southwest.
