US 60/Grand Avenue reopens in Glendale following crash involving motorcycle

US 60/Grand Avenue has reopened in Glendale following a crash on Friday night that left a motorcyclist in the hospital, officials said.
Officers responded around 7:30 p.m. to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and car at US 60/Grand Avenue and Royal Palm Road, according to the Glendale Police Department.
The motorcyclist was found with serious injuries and taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
The westbound side of the freeway was closed at 67th Avenue, and the eastbound lanes were shut at Butler Drive while authorities investigated.
The closure was lifted Saturday morning, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
