PHOENIX — Westbound Interstate 10 reopened in Buckeye on Monday night after it was closed for multiple hours due to a crash.
The freeway reopened at Jackrabbit Trail around 9:20 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
ADOT announced the highway was closed due to the crash just before 7 p.m.
ADOT told motorists to expect delays and advised seeking an alternate route.

No sympathy. There are better ways to get around. Make some changes.
This wouldn't happen if everyone took public transit. Let's make public transit more enjoyable and make cars inconvenient. How? Buses should pull into plazas like every other vehicle for boarding and unloading, frequencies should be 15 minutes or less, and the main hub should be like an airport with services and amenities. It would still be less expensive than car ownership and less burdening on the climate.
