Westbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway reopens in north Phoenix after vehicle fire

PHOENIX — Westbound Loop 101 Pima Freeway reopened at Interstate 17 on Tuesday evening after a short closure due to a vehicle fire, authorities said.

The car fire was located at milepost 24, which is right after the I-17 interchange, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The eastbound lanes were unaffected by the fire.
