The US 60 near Miami fully reopened Monday evening after a closure and restrictions caused by a brush fire, called the Henderson Fire, authorities said.

The US 60 near Miami fully reopened Monday evening after a closure and restrictions caused by a brush fire, called the Henderson Fire, authorities said.

The highway closed around 2 p.m. and opened with the restrictions around 5:30 p.m. before fully reopening around 7:25 p.m., according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

U.S. Forest officials for Tonto National Forest reported the fire’s size at approximately 10 acres, adding that it was spreading at a moderate rate.

Multiple engines from the forest service were at the scene and resources from the Sycamore Fire responded as well.
