Vehicle fire disrupts traffic on Loop 101 in Scottsdale

PHOENIX — A vehicle fire disrupted traffic on the Loop 101 Pima Freeway in Scottsdale on Tuesday evening, authorities said.

The Arizona Department of Transportation reported that both directions were closed near McDowell Road at approximately 5:20 p.m.

The closures didn’t last long, but drivers were told to expect delays.
