Portion of Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway closed after crash in West Valley

A portion of the southbound Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway in the West Valley is closed after a Tuesday morning crash, authorities said.
Traffic is being forced to exit at Bell Road in Glendale while the scene is under investigation and the wreckage is being cleared, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Loop 101 Agua Fria southbound is CLOSED in Peoria.
The closure is due to crash after Bell Road.

ADOT is advising commuters to expect delays or seek alternative routes.
Authorities did not provide an estimated time for reopening the southbound lanes of Loop 101. The northbound lanes were not affected.
