West Valley commuters should be prepared for Kendrick Lamar-SZA concert traffic

PHOENIX – With one of the year’s biggest concerts rolling into town, West Valley commuters should be prepared for heavier-than-usual traffic on Tuesday.

Showtime for Kendrick Lamar and SZA’s “Grand National Tour” stop at State Farm Stadium in Glendale is 7 p.m.

Motorists heading home after work should anticipate delays on westbound Interstate 10 and the Loop 101 Agua Fria Freeway near the venue. In addition, some surface streets in the area could be closed throughout the night to help with the traffic flow.

Concertgoers are encouraged to arrive early. Fans coming from the East Valley should consider taking the westbound/northbound Loop 202 South Mountain Freeway to avoid I-10 through downtown Phoenix.
