PHOENIX — Officials behind the upcoming Verrado Marketplace shopping center recently announced another wave of restaurants joining the development.
The center near Interstate 10 and Verrado Way will be operated by Vestar, which said Paris Baguette will be one of four new dining options opening at the West Valley shopping center.
The bakery is known for its cakes, pastries, coffee, teas and other treats. Guests can browse the display cases with a wooden board and tongs in hand, selecting baked goods as they go. The South Korea-based company already operates locations in Phoenix, Scottsdale, Chandler and Mesa.
Paris Baguette franchisee Sam Yoon said he’s looking forward to expanding the brand to the West Valley.
“We’re excited to introduce the Buckeye community to our fresh-baked breads, pastries, and signature café experience. This vibrant new destination at Verrado Marketplace aligns perfectly with our commitment to creating moments of joy where neighbors can connect,” Yoon said.
What about the three other eateries joining Verrado Marketplace?
The bakery will be joined by an OHSO Brewery, BJ’s Restaurant and Chili’s Grill & Bar.
Derek Boettcher of OHSO Brewery said the location will be around 5,300 square feet.
“This expansion is a strategic move for us, as the West Valley continues to experience tremendous growth,” Boettcher said. “Verrado’s strong sense of community and Vestar’s vision for the marketplace align perfectly with the OHSO brand.”
These four new eateries join others already set to open at the center, including Salt Tacos + Tequila, Shake Shack, Sourdough & Co., Handel’s Ice Cream, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Nekter Juice Bar, Thai Chili and Tropical Smoothie Café.
That’s in addition to the anchor tenants coming to Verrado Marketplace — Target, Harkins Backlot, Safeway, Ross, Marshalls and HomeGoods — along with specialty retailers such as:
- ULTA
- Famous Footwear
- Buckle
- Bath & Body Works
- See’s Candies
- America’s Best Contacts & Glasses
Tenants will start opening in May.
