The Henry set to open 3rd Valley restaurant at Scottsdale 101 shopping plaza

PHOENIX — The Henry is set to expand its Valley footprint again, bringing its all‑day dining concept to one of north Scottsdale’s busy retail corridors.

Restaurateur Sam Fox will open the newest restaurant Wednesday at the Scottsdale 101 shopping plaza, which is actually on the eastern edge of Phoenix on the southwest corner of the Loop 101 Pima Freeway and Scottsdale Road.

The all‑day dining concept already has a restaurant in Arcadia, which opened in 2013, and one in uptown Phoenix, which opened last year.

The newest location replaces a former Denny’s, which was demolished to make way for the 7,000‑square‑foot, ground‑up build.

What to expect at Valley’s third The Henry restaurant

The Henry at Scottsdale 101 will offer the brand’s standard lineup, including a full menu, walk‑up coffee bar, house‑made pastries and weekend brunch. It will open with the brand’s classic dishes along with seasonal spring ingredients.

The building features an open kitchen and a front patio anchored by a large fireplace. Private dining rooms will also be available for events and group gatherings.

“The Henry works best when it becomes part of the daily rhythm of a neighborhood,” Fox said in a press release. “We’re excited for this new location to become a central hub for the north Scottsdale community.”

Live music is scheduled for its opening day. Reservations are available through OpenTable.

Fox Restaurant Concepts operates more than a dozen Valley restaurant brands, including Culinary Dropout, Flower Child, Blanco Cocina + Cantina and North Italia.
