Streets of New York restaurant to return to Fountain Hills with opening of new location

PHOENIX — Streets of New York, a family-owned restaurant, is set to make a return to Fountain Hills on Wednesday with the opening of its new location.

The restaurant, which opened in the Valley in 1976, previously served the East Valley town for 20 years and will resume doing so when the eatery opens off of El Lago and Saguaro boulevards.

“We’re thrilled to rejoin the Fountain Hills community and bring our family recipes back to a neighborhood that has supported us for so many years.” Streets of New York Director of Operations Ryan Glaeser said in a press release. “This location has some of the best views in the Valley, and we can’t wait for guests to enjoy great food, great drinks and a warm welcome, just as they’ve come to expect from Streets of New York for nearly 50 years.”

Details on Streets of New York returning to Fountain Hills with new location

The restaurant has 24 tables and can sit a total 92 customers, 12 of those at its bar. It features a full bar, dedicated to-go area and a covered patio that has park and fountain views.

The eatery’s menu consists of New York-style pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and soups. It also has a variety of appetizers, such as big mozzarella cheese sticks, meatballs and wings, and desserts, including double chocolate cake, New York cheese cake with cherries and cannoli.

The restaurant in Fountain Hills will be the chain’s 16th location in the Grand Canyon State.

“We’re excited to welcome Streets of New York back to Fountain Hills in its new location,” Fountain Hills Mayor Gerry Friedel. “This restaurant has long been a favorite in our community, and its return reflects the strength of our local economy and adds to the vitality of our downtown.”

It will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, it is important to note that from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. the restaurant offers a limited menu.
