Restaurants from Guy Fieri, SanTan Brewing officially open at Sky Harbor International Airport

PHOENIX — The “Mayor of Flavortown” and a popular Valley craft brewery have officially opened new restaurants at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

A grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday for Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen + Bar PHX and SanTan Spirit House, according to restaurateur HMSHost, which operates both restaurants.

“These restaurants will showcase our region’s flavors and creativity, and by bringing in locally inspired concepts, we’re not only elevating the dining experience for our passengers but providing them with the opportunity to discover something new and memorable while traveling,” city of Phoenix Aviation Director Chad Makovsky said in a press release.

The restaurants are both located in Sky Harbor’s eighth concourse in Terminal 4.

What to expect at Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen + Bar at Sky Harbor International Airport

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen + Bar PHX is the second Valley restaurant from the celebrity chef, as he also has a location in downtown Phoenix, outside Chase Field.

Ahead of this week’s celebration, Fieri made an appearance at the restaurant, which opened last month.

The 3,300-square-foot restaurant can seat more than 100 people and offers signature dishes such as Trash Can Nachos, a selection of Big Bite Burgers, Mötley Qüe pulled pork sandwiches and more.

For early travelers, breakfast options include a burrito, sandwiches and avocado egg toast.

As for drinks, the restaurant will serve handcrafted cocktails, some featuring Santo Tequila, which is a collaboration between Fieri and Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Sammy Hagar, along with wine and local beers.

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Kitchen + Bar is located near Gate D11 and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.

What to expect at SanTan Spirit House at Sky Harbor International Airport

SanTan Spirit House is Chandler-based SanTan Brewing Company’s second location at the state’s largest airport, as it also has a restaurant in Terminal 3.

The speakeasy-style restaurant opened in August and seats 52 people. The menu contains a selection of signature whiskeys, gins, vodkas, cocktails and SanTan Brewing’s six flagship beers.

The food options include appetizers, sandwiches, Roman-style flatbreads and breakfast items, such as breakfast pizza and chicken and waffles.

SanTan Spirit House is located near Gate D15 and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
