Wagyu House, an all-you-can-eat Japanese steakhouse, is set to open its first Arizona location in Chandler Fashion Center next year.

The project comes from Chubby Group, a hospitality company that focuses on wagyu: premium, highly marbled beef from specific Japanese cattle breeds known for tender textures and rich flavors. The cattle are typically raised under low-stress conditions and given specialized diets to ensure the highest possible quality.

What makes Wagyu House unique among other steakhouses is that it offers wagyu from Japan, Australia and the U.S. Each type has its own marbling and flavor profile.

CEO Harby Yang said each location is designed to reflect the character of its local city.

“Every visit is more than a meal — it’s a journey that awakens sight, scent, sound and taste,” Yang said in a press release.

The restaurant specializes in all-you-can-eat yakiniku, a style of Japanese BBQ grilling that involves cooking bite-sized meat over a gas or charcoal flame. It emphasizes high-quality meat with a tender texture.

“We’re eager to introduce this immersive experience to the Arizona market and welcome guests from Chandler and beyond to discover a dining destination where every bite tells a story, and every moment is crafted to be unforgettable,” Yang said.

The restaurant will open in the fall of 2027. It’s one of two highly anticipated Asian restaurants set to open at the Chandler Fashion Center next year, with Din Tai Fung also on the way.
